Dedham Vale
The Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is part of a family of protected areas and embraces one of the most cherished landscapes. It is situated along the river Stour on the Essex-Suffolk border in eastern England. It is also known as “Constable Country“ because it is the place where the famous painter John Constable was born.
Dedham Vale has his own particular charm with traditional houses, churches and centuries old pubs. But also the landscape brings with his mix of watery meadows, marshes, trees and the slow flowing river, a picturesque scenery.
A trip to the The Munnings Art Museum, Dedham Art & Craft Centre or the delightful Shakespeare House Gallery and an experience to the Gnome Magic Garden is highly worth it and recommended for a laugh in the noon.
